On Ireland’s beautiful east coast, Powerscourt Hotel is a 5-star hotel tucked away in the woodlands of County Wicklow. There are stunning spa facilities and an award-winning restaurant, Sika.

Opulently furnished rooms all have marble baths, separate rainforest showers and featherbeds. Many rooms have floor-to-ceiling windows, panoramic views and terraces. All have a seating area and free Wi-Fi. Everything. Great hotel, very spacious rooms (we were upgraded to suite). Great hotel garden and facilities. Breakfast and dinner was very nice. Small Gestures like offering water for our drive out makes a difference in experience in five start properties.

Overlooking the waterfront on Grand Canal Square in the heart of Dublin Docklands, Anantara The Marker Dublin Hotel is a sleek, contemporary landmark inspired by the elements. Part of the regenerated Docklands that exemplify the city’s cosmopolitan future, the hotel is ideal for both business and leisure guests. The area is home to tech and finance giants, chic restaurants and world-class theatres. Guests can enjoy authentic Irish luxury at Anantara The Marker, a member of The Leading Hotels of the World, with 187 stylish guestrooms over six floors. The service was excellent. The breakfast selection was varied and delicious. We enjoyed the pool and gym facilities and everything was very clean The room was so comfortable. The highlight for me was the 'pillow menu' as I struggle to get comfy with really soft pillows. So I ordered a firmer one....amazing! 20 min walk to the centre of Dublin and walk along the river is lovely.
