The Grand Salon known for its natural light, generous double height ceilings, views over Lough Atalia and the much photographed bespoke mirrored lighting installation by lighting designer Tom Dixon. The design team from GW Design wanted to maintain the chic and elegant atmosphere of the grand salon and for the room to have a feeling of subtle sophistication. A new jewel like cocktail bar, with a dramatic mirrored back bar display reflects the view of the Lough and the lighting installation. A palette of luxurious leathers and textured fabrics, in soft taupes, greys with hints of plums, create a warm and relaxing backdrop to enjoy afternoon tea or a pre-dinner drink. Very impressed with everything. Joey was very professional on front desk. Rooms were huge, bath gorgeous. Quiet also. Good fantastic, service great. Honestly one of the best hotels I’ve stayed in recently.

Located in Dingle, in County Kerry, Milltown House Dingle offers en suite accommodation, free Wi-Fi and free private parking. This property benefits from a stunning location overlooking Dingle Bay.

All the rooms at Milltown House Dingle feature a seating area and tea/coffee making facilities. The en suites bathrooms include complimentary toiletries. My wife and I traveled all over Ireland on our summer vacation. We were really looking forward to visiting the Dingle Peninsula and staying at this famous hotel that hosted the likes of Robert Mitchum and Rick Steves. Upon arrival, we were greeted by two beautiful Irish wolfhounds. We may have stayed in the same room as one of them. The service was outstanding and the breakfast was simple, but offered Irish butter and cheeses made by those happy cows. The room was elegant and large. We had a bayview room which we really enjoyed. The bar is wonderful too, especially since your reservation comes with a free drink. The rooms throughout Milltown House are gorgeously furnished. The afternoon we arrived, the kitchen staff was cooking for the arrival of a tour group. It smelled amazing even though it was not for us. Sure, you are not in the heart of Dingle, but on the outskirts. However, for a short stay, it is worth it. It was only a fifteen minute walk into town.
