It is the perfect place for a relaxing getaway with spa access and beautiful nature around. The staff are all extremely welcoming, friendly, and always willing to help. The breakfast included is superb with a buffet and hot food you can choose to order. We also had dinner in the pub a few times and an afternoon tea in the Monk's Lounge. Both were great. The hotel also offers complimentary bikes you can reserve which is great to explore the park.

You can play tennis at this 5-star hotel, and the area is popular for fishing and cycling. The whole Castle experience was amazing . The staff looked after absolutely everything we needed with professionalism and ease . The room was stunning and the grounds outstanding .

Breakfast is nicely presented, delicious and fast. Staff are very attentive. No negatives at all. Concierge is top notch.

The setting overlooking the lakes is also truly special, which added to the overall experience. Overall, it was a lovely stay, and I would return again for another short getaway.

The design team from GW Design wanted to maintain the chic and elegant atmosphere of the grand salon and for the room to have a feeling of subtle sophistication. A new jewel like cocktail bar, with a dramatic mirrored back bar display reflects the view of the Lough and the lighting installation. A palette of luxurious leathers and textured fabrics, in soft taupes, greys with hints of plums, create a warm and relaxing backdrop to enjoy afternoon tea or a pre-dinner drink. Super friendly staff, large comfortable room, lovely bathroom. This is the nicest place I’ve stayed in my travels around Ireland. The spa was great as well, very well done.
