The staff were wonderful and friendly, always greeting us with a smile. My partner has a gluten allergy, and the head chefs personally attended to us, going through all the buffet items she could have. They even made fresh gluten-free versions of items she could not have upon request. The buffet variety was outstanding, and the food was very tasty. Our room was very clean, modern, and had an amazing view, with daily cleaning and tidying. We were assigned a staff member at check-in who checked in with us through WhatsApp every day to see if we needed anything, adding a personalized touch to our stay. On the last day, we were even given a gluten free cake as a treat.

We stayed for a week and were beyond impressed. The hotel is stunning, the staff is incredibly kind and truly attentive, and the food is outstanding. We ended up eating on-site several times because it was just that good. The entire property has everything you need for a perfect stay. I saw some negative reviews before coming, but honestly, we didn’t experience anything like that – everything exceeded our expectations. A special highlight: my girlfriend had her birthday during our stay, and the staff made it unforgettable. They surprised her with a homemade cake at breakfast (brought out with music by the kitchen team!), and later, the room was beautifully decorated with balloons, towel art, and more. It was truly touching. Can’t recommend this place enough – we would definitely come back!

It is outside of very busy Mirissa, but still very close - 7min by scooter / tuk tuk. The room is spacious and comfortable. The staff is sweet, kind and will help you to organise anything you need. The place is right by the lake, you can take a boat and enjoy beautiful sunset there. For the breakfast you get fresh fruits, smoothie, eggs on your preffered way, tea, coffee. We prolonged the stay and would come back in the future.

Go have breakfast at Mr Sunils Roti and Juice Shop and/or Mermaid's kitchen in Ahangama.
