We appreciated the **drinking water available on tap**, which added a nice touch of convenience. The **raindrop shower** was another highlight, featuring excellent water pressure and unlimited hot water—perfect for a relaxing start to our day. Speaking of mornings, the **breakfast at the hotel restaurant** was delightful, offering a variety of delicious options that fueled our adventures in San Cristóbal. Overall, the combination of the staff's warmth and the hotel's charm made our visit special, and we will certainly return on our next trip! Having NFL RedZone was a huge bonus for me during American football season.

Casa del Alma Hotel Boutique & Spa has a bright interior courtyard and simple, modern décor. Each of its air-conditioned suites offers city views, and has a flat-screen TV and a desk. The location was great, very clean room, just like the pictures. They also offered us an alcoholic welcoming drink which was a nice touch.

The private bathroom comes with a hairdryer, slippers and toiletries. Lovely small hotel set in gorgeous gardens with a lake and swimming pools. We had two lovely large rooms across from the main building. Our rooms had lovely facilities and furnishings. We stayed for 2 nights and ate at the hotel each night which had a good menu choice. We had the continental breakfast which was enough for us but wider options also available. The hotel recommended Mildred Lucas for tour and jungle walk of the Palenque Archeological Zone. Mildred was amazing and we had the best guide and walk and I would highly recommend this for your visit to Palenque. We saw and heard howler monkeys whilst there so an extra special part of our visit too. We had a hire car and safe parking in the grounds of the hotel and we explored Palenque town a little too and lovely restaurants in the town available too. I would recommend this hotel and the small size provides a lovely feel and environment. We found all the staff here very friendly, helpful and professional. We would love to return.

The restaurant at the Hotel Villa Mercedes Palenque serves traditional Mexican food. There is also a poolside bar with a terrace, loungers and hammocks. We really liked our stay Villa Mercedes. The rooms were clean and spacious. The pool area and hammock by the pond were great. Really enjoyed the sounds of frogs and cows in the distance. The bathroom didn’t have any fan, that’s all I can think of as a minus.
