Would totally recommend luxury on howden for staying in TeAnau ,Tracy is a superb host .
Hannah is an amazing host. Attention to detail superb, felt very homely but luxurious
Everything about this property was just fantastic, the bed was so comfortable, the cleaning was impeccable, there was everything I needed including lovely towels, bathroom necessities, good water pressure in the shower, tea & coffee facilities, armchairs on the terrace to sit in the sunshine, I could go on and on. Really happy I stayed here and would absolutely recommend, not many places in Te Anau are very up to date but this was a real treat for the area and should get 5 stars.
So peaceful and quiet, our unit was warm with the owner already putting the heating on before our arrival. It's camp style may not suit those who like their 5 star accom but we certainly found it relaxing and suitable for all our needs. The location is a bonus given that it's so close to Milford Sounds (56klms) and a third of the price. The owner was prompt on providing information in regards to the access to Milford Sounds after a storm had passed through the day prior.
5 star personal treatment by captain and crew on a superb vessel. In depth knowledge of the Sound and history.Superb food with the bonus of freshly caught lobster expertly prepared free of charge. A great experience.
5 stars quality food was so amazing and fresh! staff very pro and friendly breath taking landscapes canoe and swim. friendly passengers we loved every single minute
If I could give it 10/5 stars, I would. This is probably the best accommodation I’ve stayed in for 3 weeks. The cottage is serene, the hospitality by Ian & Sally was great (they provided 6 free range eggs, complimentary) and the place was so comfortable, spacious and clean. Ducks, birds and even rabbits can be seen (if you’re quick enough!). The views was majestic and I wished I stayed at this place longer than just two nights.
Property was clean. Towels were on a heated rack and were soft and fluffy . Spa bath was an added bonus and high quality toiletries too. There was a cooktop, microwave and kitchen utensils. it’s a motel so cannot be 5 stars but as a motel was good. Staff were fantastic. only negative was the bed was very soft and not overly comfortable.
