Casa Maya as a property should be rated 9/10. While not luxurious, it offers good value for money. However, certain factors mentioned below affected the final score: 0.5 for the hostess taking the initiative and making arrangements for us to enjoy Venezuelan food from a nearby chef. Another 0.5 for her being the only person who cleaned our room during our stay

The view was 5 star. The cabin was basic but comfortable. Only a short walk to the beach. Our hosts were very helpful. Great place to chill out, surf , read and rest.

The property was beautiful with a lot of attention to detail. Loved the staff! We thoroughly enjoyed spending time with this team of extremely nice, happy, intuitive people. Oh! And the chef! Amazing!

We loved staying here! Did one day snorkeling tour to Coiba, which was amazing and they arranged it well, and the other full days we just stayed by the pool all day long, walked on the beach here and just enjoyed the hotel. Food in the restaurant was also amazing!! Thumbs up for the chef and the sweet ladies who served us. The room was clean and big, and we also saw crocodiles and a snake from our inside porch. Very fun experience, would love to come back someday!

The location was superb. One of the best parts was the coffee shop underneath the Hostel. Great breakfast and delicious mid-afternoon snacks
