The facilities are excellent - modern kitchen with oven, microwave and induction hob, Nespresso coffee machine (with free pods) and a barbecue outside (with free charcoal). Large fridge/freezer. The garden is wide and spacious with a big dining table in the middle, there is even a fire pit for the evening. The front gate of the property is a few steps from the beach, and you can choose your lounger for your stay (price included as well!). It is far enough away from the centre to be peaceful, but still only 15 minutes walk from the local stores. There are bikes supplied as well if you fancy that. The large TV has video on demand and Netflix. WiFi is fast, strong and reliable. There is an alarm system as well so you know the place is secure when you go out. If there are any problems, I mean any, then Sajmir the owner is just a phone call away and he won’t rest until the issue is resolved. There is even an 8-hour battery backup system for the alarm, TV and internet in case of any power outage.

Located in the very centre of Velipoja, Hotel Valz offers an outdoor pool, a fitness centre and rooms completely renovated in 2017.

The property was in an amazing location, beachfront with a cool Aztec statue right opposite our balcony. The pictures didn’t do this property justice as the rooms were absolutely gorgeous, very modern, stylish and with good lighting and mirrors. The staff were amazing, so helpful and they really made our stay an absolute pleasure! The food at the hotel was the best we had anywhere! We will definitely be back next year.

During my last review, I mentioned to staff that there was no need for loud pool music. This time, music was as it should be so, in total - everything was perfect. Dinner, very tasty as standard; service too. Also, nice work from ladies serving breakfast.

Super modern felt brand new We arrived very late (2:30am) after a delayed flight and after calling the number of the booking the owner came to let us in and checked us in super smoothly. I would advise letting them know if you plan to get there outside of check in hours as there was not someone on the desk (but when calling they came out within 2 mins) from a room in the hotel. Great fresh breakfast
