We booked the Junior Suite Deluxe. It was spacious with warm traditional alpine decor, impeccably clean and had welcome snacks and drinks. The room was comfortable in every way but the best part was the magnificent mountain view from the balcony - it was truly breathtaking! The balcony was large - a really great size with a table, chairs and two sun loungers so it was perfect for relaxing in your own personal outdoor space. The hotel is situated a short distance away from the main street on a hill, in very serene and scenic surroundings. Check in/out was swift and all the staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel provides a visitors card which enables free use of local buses and offers some discounts on local attractions, they also provide free parking and a shuttle to the train station if needed but honestly if you can manage the walk to the shops/station ( on a narrow, tarred, undulating path) then go for it - as it was such a scenic walk it was an absolute pleasure to do! Breakfast was good - a variety of items - in particular the bread and local butter was amazing! Every afternoon there was a lovely cake buffet included in the stay - drinks ordered were extra. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would love to come back here again in the future.

    Wow, my favourite hotel in Switzerland. Right in the heart centre of Grindelwald, with an unforgettable view of the mountains. the hotel was clean, modern, stylish, cosy and overall perfection. The staff where lovely, and very helpful. Their English speaking was perfect throughout the whole hotel. We took our 2 Pomeranians with us and the hotel was so accommodating, gave us beds and bowls for them, and everyone around the hotel greeted them each day :)
