Location, room, food, beer all very good. The only thing that stopped me rating it excellent was the mattress. Very disappointing because the quality of everything else was very good..Perhaps I was unlucky and the rest of the beds were comfortable. I would go again but ask for a different room.

Lovely location.Nice walks and a gem of a church with medieval Wall paintings. Food was good, pub was busy, staff doing their best and cheerful with it. It's a very old building so maintenance is a problem.. Its up for sale so next owner may have to invest a bit in renewing old wooden windows. Otherwise can't fault it even the tea and cocoa selection in room were excellent quality.
