The staff were so helpful and friendly! Breakfast was really nice and the room was clean and had all of the essentials. We were even allowed an extra hour to check out without any additional charges.

Staff were very friendly. The room was clean and furnished beautifully. The food was good and the terrace lovely for drinks. Breakfast was excellent and offered traditional full English and a range of vegan, vegetarian and other tempting choices. I would definitely go back there. The location enabled us to walk straight onto the high street with its historic buildings and great shops and eating venues. Parking is available close by. We would recommend the Gothic house and will be returning there. Thank you for making our stay so pleasurable.

Beautiful tranquil gardens , large ponds , wildlife . No noise apart from occasionally hearing the owls at night , just absolute heaven . Very private . Immaculately clean, very comfortable and relaxing modern interior. Comfortable beds with luxury bedding . We stayed early December, we were warm and snug, loved the under floor heating in the bathroom . Everything is planned and laid out well . Lots to see in the area and some first class restaurants recommended by the owners are left on the welcome pack . Would definitely love to return it was a magical experience staying at The Duck House . The owners are incredibly nice . You won’t get better than this .
