The Lodge is perfect for a family gathering. It is located in a quiet area and is approx 3 mins walk to the hotel and leisure facilities. The fire was lit on our arrival and it was so cozy. Everything that you would need is there in the lodge. Thank you!

Unique spot, unforgetable house ambiemce, land lady extremely polite, fiendly, hospitable. We wish we had some more days to spend, just to enjoy the place.     Great location with free parking nearby. Lovely room and bathroom. Housekeeping was tip top, not a speck of dust anywhere. Lovely breakfast, proper linen etc. Staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. For once a hotel that really does deserve its 4 stars. Highly recommended.

    Our room was large ,freshly decorated and very clean. It was quiet. The whole hotel has been renovated recently and is clean and smart. The location on the riverside is lovely yet a short walk along the river and across a footbridge to the city centre ( 10 mins). The surrounding area is residential. Staff are friendly and efficient. Free car parking to the rear.

    Great hotel, rooms were modern, clean and comfortable. Hotel newly renovated. We ate in the restaurant, good was fabulous. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Fantastic location, will definitely be returning!!!!
