A wonderful stay at Avalong Resort by Malwatta in Kandy, Sri Lanka. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our visit. After having left noisy Kandy and traffic behind, this place was a haven of peace. The lack of noise was what hit me first. Staff were helpful and welcoming. The views were stunning. Hanthana mountain is in front at the other side of a deep valley and the Knuckles Range to the right. Crickets were chirping when I went to sleep, and I woke up to a chorus of birds. All in all, I came back in a better mindset that I went in with.
