The location is beautiful and the hotel had a bit more personality than most. Finally all the staff were so helpful and friendly.

Very pleasant. Beautiful view across the fjord. Easy trip on the road to Andalsnes for provisions. Great access to the wonderful passes of Trollstiggen and Trollvegen, also the surrounding fjords. Lovely walking. We were just beginning to discover some of the old walking paths up the mountains above the fjord. Splendid! The Romsdalsgondalen cable cars are excellent. Also the Eggen Restaurant and footpaths at the top. Spectacular views. Local cafes, restaurants and bistro are very good. Great food. The shopping is also very good. Ferry across the Landfjorden (to Molde) is regular and quick.
