Jacuzzi is a great option. One and only place for hedonists who want to get more than backpackers’ places usually offer. The Brie in Cyprus Tree is smth you cannot miss, must have.

Everything you need is here. Along with some unexpected surprises such as surround sound!! The design of these chalets is top notch and a lot of thought has been put in. Can’t wait to return next time we’re visiting.

Welcoming host. Very quiet. Parking right outside unit was helpful. Lovely hot water and good shower.

Beautiful location, unfortunately cloudy so hard to see the views. Lovely welcome on arrival, room was lovely decorated, everything we needed, breakfast was set up in our room which we loved, even got a little knock in the morning to ask if we'd like eggs cooking. Such lovely people. Bed comfortable, bath gorgeous wished we were staying longer.

The Powderhorn Chateau is situated in Ohakune, at the entrance to Tongariro National Park.

Love the mulled wine (the best I've ever had in nz). The restaurant was full and the food was amazing, we had seafood chowder, pork ribs, and a burger. The room is spacious and love the idea of providing the electronic blanket.

Loved the location of the unit, close to a stream and lots of trees. The staff were very helpful and the facilities clean and well maintained.

The Hobbit Motorlodge offers a hot tub and free unlimited WiFi. It is a 50-minute drive from the Tongariro Crossing, and the property can arrange for a drop-off service at a charge.

What wonderfull greeting from Alison and Ron and what a beautiful accommodation. Very comfy beds, each with own shower room (small but very functional). Alsion had already setup the table for breakfast the next morning, cereal, croissants, milk, juice, butter, jams ..... use of microwave, fridge, washing machine.Gas fireplace made it very cosy and our son was super happy to have the extra TV channels to watch the football world cup. Unfortunatly only stayed one night so did not see much of outside ameneties of the village but would have happilly stayed 4-5 days extra ... specially due to such a wonderfull, welcoming, helpfull couple, Alison and Ron !
