Really comfortable lodge at a stunning location: very lush and green gardens and beautiful view over lake Kivu, with the opportunity to swim. Our room was very comfi and had a great view of the lake. Great communicatuon with the reception, host made sure to call us in advance when we were going to arrive in the evening so that dinner could be prepared for us.

I loved the scenery overlooking Lake Kivu. Nirvana has a lovely pool with a good view of the lake.. Also loved the local hut inspired room designs equipped with modern toilet facilities. The location is also a walking distance to the beach side where you can board a boat to get to the natural hot water springs ("volcanic water").

Lovely location. I enjoyed taking walks on the steep stone-paved sidewalks. In the evening I was able to enjoy two cold beer drinks while talking to friends around a nice fire pit. The open flames added to the relaxation and peace of the well-landscaped gardens.

Wonderful hotel at an absolutely amazing location on the shore of lake Kivu. The road to the hotel is 10km of adventurous 4x4 terrain, but the hotel also offers boat pickups from nearby cities. When there, also explore the nearby coffee factory that gives tours - hotel boat can take you across the bay.
