The HERMITAGE Lake Lucerne - Beach Club & Lifestyle Hotel is tranquilly situated within its own grounds on the shores of Lake Lucerne, only 4 km away from the city centre with beautiful views of the landscape. Very pleasant staff, stunning views, excellent restaurant, well located (very easy to get to the city by bus) - just to name a few things we liked!

The elegant rooms are equipped with a flat-screen satellite TV, safe, minibar and hairdryer. Some rooms overlook the mountains or the lake. The view from the room was breathtaking. Stuff was very friendly and breakfast was delicious.

It has 27 superior double rooms and 3 junior suites, all with breathtaking views of the Alpine panorama. Every room comes with a TV. Some rooms include a seating area for your convenience. The rooms are fitted with a private bathroom. For your comfort, you will find free toiletries and a hairdryer. The view on top of Pilatus is amazing. The breakfast and dinner are delicious, staff are friendly.

Good for a one night stay if you plan to visit the Rigi Kulm and not want to rush back to Lucerne in one single day. it’s in walking distance to the Rigi Bahn station, and away from the tourist. Vitznau is cozy and quiet town. The rooftop restaurant across the street is pretty good, they follow fusion food using the local ingredients.

The new wellness and spa area is situated within a wonderful mountain landscape and offers an indoor pool, an indoor and outdoor whirlpool, as well as 5 different saunas and 2 steam baths and a quiet room with a splendid view. The ski pistes start directly in front of the hotel and there are many hiking and mountain biking paths nearby. A lounge with Alps views is also available. Very friendly staff and the area is really beautiful. We were able to use the spa even if we checked out in the morning which was highly appreciated.

The restaurant serves fine seasonal cuisine with many products from local farms. It is open from Tuesday to Saturday from 6.30 pm. Incredible impressions of the hotel, very satisfied!!! The location is very convenient with beautiful scenic views. I was traveling with my family and I had the impression that we were visiting old friends. I'm very grateful to the hotel team, who created a warm and cozy home atmosphere. Special thanks to Mrs. Conny for her kindness, positive emotions and good sense of humor, Mrs. Gosia and Mrs. Oksana for the delicious breakfasts, dinners and good company. I highly recommend this hotel to everyone, definitely you will not regret it!

The property itself feels like something out of a fairy tale, perched on the hillside with breathtaking panoramic views over Lucerne, the lake, and the surrounding mountains. The building is steeped in history yet beautifully maintained, with interiors that combine elegance, charm, and comfort. The staff were genuinely warm, attentive, and professional, ensuring that every detail of my stay was perfect. From the seamless check-in to thoughtful touches in the room, their hospitality truly stood out. The room was spacious, tastefully decorated, and impeccably clean, with a balcony that offered spectacular sunrise and sunset views. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, and the amenities were top-notch. Dining at the hotel’s restaurant was an absolute delight. The cuisine was refined and flavorful, and the wine list was well-curated. Breakfast on the terrace with the view of Lucerne was the highlight of my mornings. In short, Château Gütsch is more than just a hotel, it’s an experience. I would wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone looking for a unique, luxurious, and memorable stay in Lucerne.
