A great value and an extremely well appointed hotel room with very nice touches and great furnishings. Everything felt very new and clean and definitely one of the nicer 4 star hotels in the airport area. Good working AC and very helpful front desk staff - including Joyce who helped me with my WIFI. Breakfast is high quality but is mostly Chinese style (which I like) with Rice noodles 🍜 and a few hot Chinese dishes. Hotel 🏨 is in a little shopping area (with a bunch of other similar airport hotels) that have some tea shops and local restaurants. Great choice for a layover at the Kunming airport.

Featuring free WiFi, a restaurant and a barbecue, Dali Yanyuan Mountain Retreat offers accommodation in Dali, at the foot of Mount Cangshan. Dali Ancient Town is 5 minutes' walk away. WiFi access is possible in all areas. Beautiful hotel. Room was cleaned daily with lot of amenities (water, tea, coffee) replenished daily. Staff was super helpful and speaks english. I suggest to book the transfer to and from the station/airport with them as it's often difficult to find a didi/taxi.

Dali Yunxi Boutique Inn features accommodation situated 700 metres from the centre of Dali and provides a garden and a bar. The property has mountain and quiet street views, and is a few steps from Erhai Gate. The accommodation offers airport transfers, while a bicycle rental service is also available. I love this place, every single thing. The owners are just so present, helpful, kind, calm, and show great hospitality. It felt like we were staying at their home and experiencing how life is in Dali. They gave us great recommendations on where to visit and what to do to enjoy Dali, and most importantly, take it slow. We got a delux double room. It is clean, comfortable, spacious, and beautifully decorated with lots of details showing the owners put a lot of thoughts on this place. Theres a lot of personal touches. The building itself has 3 outdoor and 1 indoor areas for sitting and relaxing. It was a pity we were staying for 2 nights only and didn't get a chance to enjoy the areas. Totally recommend you to stay here, esp if you prefer more personal cute boutique hotels to big chains and commercial hotels. Both owners are also very used to international tourists and speak English, so it is a huge plus. Big thanks to the owners for such a wonderful stay. And look forward to next time visiting you again.

The warm hospitality of the staff and the comfortable environment of the inn made our stay unforgettable. The innkeeper was very friendly and hospitable. Ask him for activity suggestions, and he will reply in a timely manner. The staff also maintained the cleanliness and warmth of the room. Homemade breakfast is very rich and delicious. The courtyard is really a highlight for viewing the scenery of the ancient city of Lijiang. The toilet even has a heating function, so you don't have to worry about freezing when you go to the bathroom. In the ancient city of Lijiang, you don't have to worry about dragging your luggage, the host will find a tricycle driver to help you move your luggage! We love this place! I will definitely come back if I can.

The location is quite good, the room is clean, and it's quiet at night. If I have the chance to come back, I would still choose this place.
