The hotel was a wonderful place to be stranded - we had a delicious carvery before enjoying the pool and spa. The room was immaculate with extremely comfortable beds. We had a wonderful breakfast too. Special thanks to the maintenance team who helped us get out of the car park in all the snow and even cut a safe path all the way to my car with a shovel so that my pregnant sister would get there safely - we are very grateful for incredible service that went above and beyond and look forward to staying again!

With free parking, it is just 1.5km from junction 9 off the M8 motorway. Wonderful and comfortable. Great rooms very clean and updated.

Located on the outskirts of Thurles town, Anner Hotel and its leisure centre is a pleasant base with friendly staff, fine food and plenty of comforts. Originally a country house, the hotel has expanded to include modern amenities whilst still holding on to its old world charm and character. Love it except when the fire alarm went off at 1:30 am. Turned out to be a false alarm.
