The host welcomed us with some cake, chocolates, eggs and other supplies in the kitchen to get us started when we arrived. The house is spotless clean. The electric heating works very well so the house was never cold despite the weather outside and the little wood burner fireplace made it very cosy over the Christmas nights.

The biggest gem is Daphne, sweet, funny, cheerful. Communicative, willing, helpful, hospitable. Her breakfast was divine, every day we had to taste something different. Every time it was excellent. The place is great, close to beautiful mountains and cities. Quiet with parking. Thank you very much for a wonderful 3 days. I hope we come back.

This beautiful country-house hotel on the edge of Enniskerry features spacious rooms and seasonal cuisine, 5 minutes’ walk from Powerscourt House and Gardens. Dublin can be reached in a 30-minute drive. We really enjoyed our stay at Summerhill House Hotel. The staff were friendly, the room was clean and comfortable, and the location was peaceful and beautiful. Breakfast was tasty, and the hotel is close to Powerscourt.

All of the elegant, stylish rooms have contemporary en suite facilities, along with a TV and WiFi internet access. There are also luxurious suites with a private balcony, kitchenette and living room. All rooms are non-smoking. We loved everything about this place. The staff were amazing, the setting was beautiful, and it was the perfect base while Sonny played in the Junior Irish Open. It was relaxing, comfortable, and exactly what we needed.
