The elegant Iveagh Restaurant serves modern cuisine, whilst the modern C Central bar has a relaxed atmosphere, light snacks and large flat-screen TVs showing news and sports. The rooms were very well appointed: lots of power outlets, lots of storage spaces, robes and slippers, excellent shower, etc. The bed was very comfortable. The gym was better equipped than most typical hotel gyms. Staff was very helpful. It was nice to be able to get tea, coffee or a drink in the spacious lobby. While it is a bit out of the centre, it is right on the #16 bus route directly from the airport. A tram line is not far. Lots of restaurants and pubs nearby, It's also an easy walk to St. Stephen's Green and the Grafton Street area. The breakfast is very good, and one does not have to order the Full Irish: the Continental is half the price and offers a great spread of breads, meats and cheeses, fruit, cereals and yoghurt. Given the quality of this hotel, the room rates are an exceptionally good value for Dublin.
