Perfect accommodation for visits to the art islands especially if you don’t want to stay in the island itself. Building looks very new and was spotless. Very comfortable. Decent breakfast for the price (including tasty glasses of colorful juice). Free pass to the beautiful onsen next door (got outdoor onsen overlooking the ocean).

Authentic Japanese cuisine featuring fresh seafood is served at restaurant Shioji in a stylish contemporary setting, and the traditional Japanese-style saloon. There is a free coffee lounge on the front lobby floor. I stayed in Japan for a month, and my one night stay here is an absolute stand out moment in the trip. From arriving at the island and sending off our luggage with the shuttle to being dropped off at the ferry by the shuttle on our last day. Every interaction with the team was friendly and professional. I think it's absolutely worth spending a little extra to get the open air bath with a view, soaking in the views while soaking in the tub was extraordinary.
