Villa Bella was fantastic, Manoëlla made me and a friend feel incredibly welcome and at ease in the guesthouse. The rooms were clean, comfortable and with great air conditioning. The WiFi was strong and reliable too. The location was perfect with direct access to the beach. I had a room with a sea view and was able have breakfast and evening drinks looking out onto Blue Bay. I would recommend Villa Bella to any first time visitors to Blue Bay and Mauritius.

Set up on a historic tea plantation in Bois-Cheri, Bubble Lodge offers unique accommodation under the stars. Surrounded by nature it also boasts views of the adjacent lake.

The transparent bubble-styled rooms ensure maximum viewing pleasure. Combining earthy tones and natural fabrics, each is equipped with a bed and private bathroom and an outdoor open sky shower. A sofa bed is available, suitable for up to 2 children aged 14 years and under. This was a once-in-a-lifetime experience and it was worth every penny. It’s not just a place to stay, it’s a whole package of activities and meals. When I arrived, I was a bit too early for check-in, so I was invited to do a tea tasting on a beautiful balcony overlooking the lake. While I sampled 8 different types of tea, I watched a family of wild boars trot past, and I couldn’t help but laugh when a monkey stole a box of tea from a neighboring table. When I was invited to my bubble lodge, I was blown away by the details - flower petals on the bed, stunning views of nature. It would be perfect for a honeymoon, but I also enjoyed it as a solo traveler. I spent my afternoon watching the animals from my bubble - monkeys, wild boars, a black swan. I also took a long walk around the lake. The dinner (included in the room reservation) was exquisite. Three delicious courses and plenty of vegetarian options. I also really liked the tea bread served with tea chutney. During my dinner, I watched Java deer just outside of the panoramic windows. After dinner, I had a beautiful nighttime walk back to my bubble, and I laid in bed watching the stars and listening to animals rustling in the trees. When I awoke in the morning, I found that a pair of Java deer were looking into my bubble, and the black swan was also right outside. I took a rain shower outdoors with a bit of actual rain mixed in. I had a delicious breakfast that consisted of crepes, an omelet, yogurt, juice, tea, and more of my favorite tea bread. Next I borrowed a bicycle from the lodge and rode it to the tea museum, where I learned all about tea, and then I took a guided tour of the Bois Cheri tea factory. At the end, I had yet another tea tasting, and then it was time to check out of my hotel. All-in-all, I had a perfect stay and I really hope that I will have an opportunity to come back someday. I want to give a special shout-out to Tina, who took really good care of me in the restaurant.

All the apartments are decorated in a modern style and comprise a fully equipped kitchen, lounge and living area. They also feature a bathroom with shower and free toiletries. Ironing facilities are also included. The entire facility was amazing, with the beach just at the end of our private garden. Very spacious rooms, spotless clean and kitchen very well equipped. Stuff was extremely friendly, we felt just like home with cleaning service on top :)

The bright rooms and suites include a cosy lounge area with satellite TV and air-conditioning. Each has a minibar, a modern bathroom and offers Wi-Fi access. All categories have a balcony or terrace and face the sea. Some offer a beautiful view of the Blue Bay marine park. We loved the food, incredible choices. Best buffet food I’ve ever seen at an all inclusive, and the sit down reservation restaurants were even better. Unique beaches everywhere you look. Friendly dogs on the resort which was a plus

With garden views, Nativ Lodge and Spa is located in Mahébourg and has a restaurant, a shared lounge, bar, garden, year-round outdoor pool and terrace. The lodge features both WiFi and private parking free of charge. Relaxing friendly always extremely helpful.We extended our stay because it was close to museum and walking distance to a lot. Close to public transport. Good health fresh breakfast . We discussed feedback with them and they were very happy. We much enjoyed our quiet but convenient stays before and after cycling around Muaritius
