Glamping Sites in Luang Prabang

This is a beautiful resort on a huge plot of land beside the river. The new swimming pool overlooking the river was superb. The resort is laid out with lots of amenities, games, a gym, etc. to pass the time. There are four free shuttles into and back from town every day. The staff were fantastic and catered to every need. Huge effort is also put into maintaining the resort to a high standard. The food was the best we had in Luang Prabang. The accommodation is very comfortable, ranging from affordable options to more luxurious. This resort is perfect if you want a more upmarket retreat away from the town centre.

The whole experience of staying at Naga lodge was amazing. I stayed two nights and you definitely need at least two nights to take in this experience. That experience was made my Frederic and Onh who are the owners and managers, and all of the staff. Their spirit is in this place and I immediately felt like family. They were so careful and attentive to all the small details which make a trip so memorable. The breakfast choice was fantastic including homemade ginger bread and organic homemade jams plus a whole range of other items. Both Frederic and On are excellent cooks so there is a wide range of extremely tasty western and Asian style food, and as a vegetarian they went out of their way to make me some very special dishes. A good selection of wine and quality cocktails and Laos expresso coffee are also available. The bungalows are really well made and very clean and comfortable, with mosquito nets and electric fans to keep cool if it's hot. Comfortable chairs to sit on the balcony of the bungalow and just watch the world go by. And the view of this valley is magical. I could sit all day and watch the clouds and weather change. They have mountain bikes to rent to explore the area and it's very easy to walk and enjoy a very untouched part of village life in Laos. A very moving and memorable visit that I will not forget. Clean and comfortable with very friendly and helpful staff. The view into the jungle from the private balcony is fantastic and the swimming pool is clean and very nicely presented. Overall this place is incredible and we are surprised by the small number of reviews, however don't let it put you off - you won't be disappointed. For those that don't like insects, the room is well protected. The breakfast here is also good and comes with a view.
