The location is beautiful , at a river and 10 minutes by car from the park entrance. The tents are cosy, clean and with a beautiful porch. The staff is superfriendly and very concerned to meet all their guests needs, always providing fresh water and petrol lights for the night. The boat trip and the night walk they offer for free were very informative snd interesting. The food was amazing and served in s gorgeous atmosphere under the palm trees, surrounded by fires an torches. The 12 hour safari they arranged for us was perfectly organized, with breakfast and lunch they prepared for us. Thanks to all the staff for this wonderful experience while staying with you.

We had a truly unforgettable stay, thanks to the breathtaking Mango Safari Camping and the outstanding dedication of the team. We spent one night at the charming and peaceful campsite and were warmly welcomed. We went to the Elephant Transit Home which was an unforgettable moment in our life where many baby elephants are bottle-fed by humans. The actions and demonstrations done by baby elephants were amazing and somewhat similar to human babies, which was funny to see. We were treated to a traditional Sri Lankan dinner by the bonfire – the food was very delicious. In the morning, we enjoyed a jeep safari in the Udawalawe National Park, we could see ample of elephants feeding on grass, deer, water buffalo, and birdlife of the area and the scenery was simply stunning.

This hotel is truly magnificent. The room is spacious, the large swimming pool is the private bathroom which is open to the sky. The hotel organized my safari day. The meals were very generous and I had the best driver. The staff is very friendly.

We had the best two night stay here with Solomon and the boys, the staff could not have been more attentive. They organised lunch for us on our arrival which was above and beyond what we expected. The gentleman with the glasses who delivered our induction (apologies I cannot remember his name), was so friendly and welcoming, he (and the rest of the team) went above and beyond to make sure this experience was unforgettable! The food was amazing both nights, and catered to dietary requirements. We ate outside under the stars both nights which was lovely. The tent itself was perfect for our needs, the bed was comfortable and we slept very well both nights. You could hear nature which was wonderful. Solomon is a very knowledgeable and interesting man, he provided great insight into the nature around the camp very locally and also in the safari park. We booked our safari through Big Game Camp and had Solomon as our guide which we could not recommend more, he was quick at pointing out a myriad of animals, whilst also being aware that the park is a safari not a zoo so you are not guaranteed to see anything, despite this we saw many elephants, different species of birds, mongoose etc. We would recommend this to anyone travelling to Sri Lanka!!

The food was great and their dining area is really calm and quiet. You can sit and enjoy your meal. The friendly staff always support their guests. The Mahoora tent is clean, the bed is comfortable, and the living area is big enough. Jeep safari is done by a well-trained safari driver.

I can wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone looking for a truly memorable holiday experience. Thank you for everything! We've found a hidden gem! I'm so excited to share my experiences about the coconut camp The accommodation was so clean and modern. As well as the super cool glamping tent, there was a lovely little terrace where you could chill. The owner was so friendly and helpful, making us feel right at home. The breakfast and dinner were simply mouth-watering! We also booked a safari through the accommodation, which was an absolute dream!
