This is a 5 star glamping experience located in the middle of the jungle. The room is well airconditioned, very spacious, clean and comfortable. The staff is very friendly and went out of their way to make our stay as pleasant as possible. We had a lovely dinner under the stars. A delicious huge breakfast was brought over to our room in the morning. It was an experience using the jacuzzi in the wild too. We were given a complimentary early morning walk in the vicinity of the hotel. Our guide was very knowledgeable about the wildlife we saw. The whole concept is eco-friendly. The ideal location to start from or end the day for a Yala safari tour. Certainly worth staying at.

What's there not to like? The room or the tent, while it's basic, it's self sufficient bug free with an ensuite shower and toilet. The grounds around the camp is spacious and a true immersion in mother nature. The food is authentic Sri Lankan cuisine. The 4 dogs are therapeutic to stroke. The safari tour was guided by Sudesh who has eagle's vision for spotting wild life from miles away. He'd helped us to spot snake, monitor lizard, all kinds of birds, crocodiles and definitely a leopard resting on a tree 20m away.

The safari was, without a doubt, the highlight of our stay in Sri Lanka and the absolute best way to experience Yala National Park. Our guide, Pramoth, was exceptional—his deep knowledge of the wildlife and his incredible ability to spot all the animals we had hoped to see (and even more!) made the adventure truly special. What set him apart was how he managed to make the experience memorable even after the safari itself, sharing stories and insights that enriched our understanding. A special shoutout to our driver, Chaminda, who was nothing short of a jungle pilot, skillfully navigating the rugged terrain with ease and adding to the thrill. I cannot recommend this experience enough—it’s a must for anyone visiting Sri Lanka!

We love the tents! Is actually a very juce experience to add to the safari, to sleep in the national park, you a pretty close to block 1. The staff were amazing, very professional, friendly and nice. The food, we tried the food a la Carte too. They also clean your room and tidy up it every morning.

At the borders of the national park, you already feel part of nature and its wonders. With that said, crew is treating you like their wonders. We also took the safari which was a very good combination, taking into account that the staff and guidance was very professional on that part too. This is truly an outdoor experience and not to be confused with a hotel stay. The staff were absolutely wonderful you couldn't fault them. They were there but yet they were not. You had all the privacy you wanted and felt you were all by yourself but when you needed the staff they were there immediately. It's an experience staying in a tree house so close to jungle and not to be missed but it has to be your cup of tea not everyone can handle it. Your at one with nature and your definitely sharing with them. The staff arranged a safari tour for us and their driver / guide made sure we missed nothing and we got to see a leopard close up.
