Amazing camp in the Bidiyah desert. Wonderfully situated - beautiful sunsets and sunrises. Nice, spatious tents with comfortable beds. Available activities: dune bashing, camel riding. Camel riding is quite short (~600 metres and back) but still it's nice experience. There is no possibility to charge phones in the tents, but staff are very friendly and allow you to charge your phone in the common area or the kitchen.

‏+ The camp was in a fantastic location in the desert completely surrounded by dunes. The tents were extremely comfortable as were the beds. I slept like a baby. The outside toilets/showers were whopped you would expect from camping experience but perfectly usable and not a problem. The camp itself was very spacious and the tents were located some distance away from each other giving that feeling of isolation to some degree. The staff organised a variety of different activities which looked to be at a reasonable price. The camper staff are able to organise a transfer from a local village into the dunes if you only choose to hire a two wheel drive car. It looked to be just about possible to get to the camp with the two wheel drive car but not for the fainthearted, and would require a good degree of confidence

What a magical experience. The dome is surrounded by beautiful desert. Very peaceful. The host was also very attentive and kind. Highly recommend staying here. Inside the dome is also very comfortable and well designed.

We had some troubles to reach the camp with our 2wd car. Thanks to Hamid we finally reached the camp. Although there was no other people, but us we spent an emerging evening with delicious dinner. We had fruits and coffee, we did some stars gazing, we enjoyed the fire. Hamid did for us delicious bread on the fire. Evening was great. Thanks a lot.

I came across La Duna when searching for a nice place for my Fiancé and me to stay. Out of all the camps I found, La Duna looked the most attractive, but I was initially a bit hesitant as I could not find any reviews about it. Some further research showed me that it was a brand-new camp, which explained the lack of reviews. I contacted them via their IG page and got a super friendly and supportive feedback from Mr. Nasser, the manager or owner of La Duna. Not only did he answer all my questions I had about La Duna, but he also helped me with ideas and suggestions for the other part of our 10 days Oman trip, which was an extremely valuable insight from a local and much more than I could have hoped for. So I decided to book 2 nights at La Duna and when we finally arrived there, our expectations were by far exceeded. It’s an absolutely stunning camp and extremely private, there is just one camp (tent) available for exclusive use in an incredible desert setting. Unlike nearly all the other camps, La Duna has a more modern approach and design, which we preferred over the somewhat awkward traditional camps with their black tents and weird carpets. La Duna is bright and clean and spacious, from inside more like a luxury hotel room than a tent, with a proper cooling AC, hot water and a strong water pressure in the shower. We were prepared for much worse, but at La Duna really everything worked as it should. Mr. Nasser and his team took extremely well care of us and delivered delicious meals to our camp. It cannot get more exclusive and if you are looking for a luxurious desert experience out of the ordinary, then La Duna is the place to go.

Amazing Omani welcome from Saud and his family. A stunning location with spotlessly clean and comfortable tents, with crisp linen and beautiful interior decoration. Delicious and plentiful buffet dinner taken in a traditional Omani tent setting, then sitting beside an open fire under the stars. This is a must visit location for anyone wanting to experience the beauty and tranquillity of the desert. And very fair value for money considering the amenities and warm hospitality. We booked only one night on a camp, but had such an amazing time. We were the only one group during our stay, but even though everyone worked hard to make our stay an incredible experience. We ordered dinner and breakfast and totally recommend. Food was very good ! During the day we been offered some snacks and fruits. Owner is very friendly and easy going ! He picked us up and on both ways did a Dakar Race through the dunes with us, we had a lot of fun
