The staff were absolutely wonderful. It must have been a busy weekend for them with several events on in the city but they were always happy to not just help, but also chat. Brought scissors to the room when I needed to cut some tags off clothes, happily fixed our key cards for us, etc. Just brilliant. Room was comfy and clean, and bathroom was lovely. Desk with lamp and TV were a nice touch. Floor to ceiling window with loads of natural light and all the amenities you could need - kettle, tea and coffee, iron, etc. Thought it was great value for the location and the level of comfort. Didn't use the gym or restaurant and didn't get breakfast so can't comment on that.

This Holiday Inn Express offers modern rooms, each with a flat-screen TV, just 10 minutes’ drive from Manchester’s bustling centre. There is a lounge and a residents bar. Etihad Stadium is 4 km away.

Very welcoming reception staff. Loved the seasonal decorations. Mince pies were a nice touch. The dining area was lovely. Dining staff wonderful. Food super, great fish dishes. Breakfast was best breakfast ever, wow thank you chef! Music was a good level. Lighting cosy. Bedrooms amazing especially room 325. Room 331 was smaller, but fine for a couple. Fantastic shower and products. Loved the tiles. Very clean, kudos to the cleaners! Was warm enough in room once worked out heating. Pillows and duvet were comfy. Tea and coffee in room. Hairdryer and fridge. Parked car without charge in the grounds carpark. So easy to get to the tram just at the side of building down very short lane.

Personel was superfriendly and professional. Our room was spotless and amazing! Sadly our view was a bit lost with the scaffolding but not a big deal. Breakfast was lovely, everything you wanted + more! I would gladly come back here as it was my first time in Manchester, they made my experience soooo much better!

Spotlessly clean and spacious apartment with a wonderful view. Lots of restaurants near by (Salford quays) and a Sainsbury's right next door. Trams and buses to the city or suburbs stop right in front of the apartment. The hosts were wonderful and helpful. Had a very cosy stay indeed!!

Nice area. Spacious and comfortable rooms. Best staff ever, shame can't give more than 10 stars.
