We wanted to spend one night due to its proximity to the Sanahin ans Haghpat monastries, but we stayed two nights, after discovering what a beautiful place this is. The hosts are a lovely family, extremely helpful, sympathetic, kind and discreet. The views are amazing, its quiteness is a balsam for the spirit and the sorroundings allow for a lot of activities. We asked for breakfast and dinner and they were simply delicious. They are served in the porch with amazing views. Note: I sm writing this commentary in English, since my mother tongue (Catalan) is not admitted, of which I protest.

Central location at sanahin, 5km from Alaverdi bus station, 1.5 km to sanahin monasteries, home feeling. The owner is running groceries on the ground floor, check in before 8 pm at night, highly recommended. Early check out before 9 am using the back door. Take bus 3 to the premise from Alaverdi

Great host! Edmund went out of his way to ensure we had a super stay. He gave me a personal tour of his beloved garden. We were free to gather fresh fruit from his bountiful fruit trees. The room was spacious, clean and a bit quirky, in a good way. My bed was very comfortable. It has plenty of parking. Guest House in Alaverdi would be my first choice for a place to stay if I ever happened to pass through Alaverdi again.

We stayed at Sanahin Old&New during our trip to Armenia and were very pleased. The location is excellent — just a short walk from the Sanahin Monastery. The room was clean, cozy, and had a beautiful view. The hosts were incredibly welcoming, helped us with transportation, gave useful tips about the area, and were always available. What we especially loved is the unique blend of the old Sanahin spirit with modern comfort. A place with true character! Hosts were very friendly and hospitable. They provided very delicious home made dinner and breakfast. They took care and asked if I needed a taxi to their location and made sure that room was warm and comfty. Would recommend.

Everything was perfect, Marina welcomed me from the first moment as if I were one of her family... I can confirm that the score on booking is more than deserved. I also asked for dinner and breakfast not included in the price of the room but trust me it's worth it. The price of the meals was overall cheap.
