The rooms were comfortable and the location was awesome! We were right in the old town very close to a hiking trail up to the castle ruin. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The best part though was dinner at the rest and the provided breakfast. Very very delicious!

The location was beautiful with a great view of the mountains and pleasant outdoor sitting areas in lovely gardens. The breakfast was beyond plentiful, varied, and delicious. If on foot, a bit too far and uphill for getting there from the train station with luggage, but a nice walk to and from town for sightseeing. Small fridge and teas available for snacking.

We enjoyed our stay at the Wellenhof. I made a mistake with my booking, but they were very accommodating and the issue was quickly resolved. The hotel itself is a nicely renovated old house, with clean, modern fixtures. Everything seemed clean and well maintained.

Our room was spacious and comfy, with tasteful decor and all the necessary fittings and facilities. Breakfast was tasty and nutritious. The bed was extremely comfortable and quiet, which allowed a good night's sleep. Overall, we greatly enjoyed our stay.
