The hotel staff is friendly and hospitable. The premises and some of the appliances might be a bit old-fashioned but in general, it is a clean hotel. I was given a room on the 11th floor which provided panoramic views of the Northsea and the beach. The location is superb.

We liked everything: the host is very friendly, the room is great with a very comfortable big bed, bathroom is big and very well furbished, everything is spotlessly clean, free coffee (we got extra) and location is perfect: quiet street not 10 minutes away from city center. This house is literally in the heart of Brugges and will make you feel like you are in a fairytale! The interiors are beautiful and historic,and there is lots of fascinating artwork by the host himself. David could not have been more friendly and welcoming,and the breakfast served by his daughter was delicious. The bed was extremely comfortable. Plenty of facilities were provided including robes, slippers,hair dryer and straighteners, bottled water and even beer. You can watch dvds on a projector screen that pulls down from the ceiling and there's a selection of local interest books,magazines and movies. This is very good value for money,I would recommend to anyone.
