Good hostel. Clean, comfortable room. We only stayed one night, but for the price, it was a great deal.

Marco, the host was one of the most friendly and personable people we ever met. He was like our grandpa welcoming us to visit. He is an excellent cook, and we had just about the best trout dinner of my life. He caught the trout himself. The place was spotlessly clean and had a wonderful charm about it. Compared to the much more expensive resort on the other side of the river, this is the best deal you will find in Petrohue, and one of the best deals we have ever had anywhere. We have very special memories of the evening that we will never forget, hanging out with marco and eating dinner and chatting, with his very friendly dog playing with his very friendly cat and a big peacock sitting outside. This is a special treat, go if you can.
