Warm and welcoming guest houses are ideal for travellers who prefer unfussy accommodation with a personal touch. They are usually family-run, and your host will provide local recommendations and optional meals. Often cheaper than regular hotels, guest houses can also feature a cosy living room and a garden.
It was a great expérience staying in the pension. Dimingas and her family are very friendly and welcoming and you get a family feel (which was a nice change after staying in an hotel the week before). Zuka is a great guide if you want to visit the island and climb on the volcan, and he speaks perfect French, English and Spanish. The family was very flexible about the check out time, and also arranged a taxi everytime I needed one. The location is very close to the city center and great restaurants, as well as shops.
Domingas is an amazing host that helped with many things. The room is really comfortable. Breakfast is good. Wifi is fast. Close to restaurants, bars and walking distance to tourist sites.
Dominga is a warm and helpful hostess. Even though we could only communicate via gestures / deepl, the communication went well.
The room was large and the shared bathroom always clean.
Breakfast was delicious and you get fresh fruit and bread.
She is happy to help organize day tours at a reasonable price.
The Wifi connection is fast :)
