Very charming hotel, full of history. The building seems to have been there in various forms for centuries. The rooms are a little old fashioned and the bathroom quite basic (by modern standards) but it was clean and had everything we needed. We were on a bike tour and arrived wet and muddy and were able to wash our bikes and keep them in the shed. We were able to have dinner at a place about 2km away that we walked to. The breakfast was amazing- a really rich selection in the beautiful dining room.

I have marvellous vacation here in November. It is an adorable small family-run hotel located on the lake where graceful silence and peace envelops you. Close to ferry connection to the islands Herreninsel, Fraueninsel. The room where I stay was cozy, comfortable, fantastically clean, spacious, with modern & pleasing to the eye style. I enjoyed lovely breakfast — its selection is delicious and varied. Comfortable bed, great shower, daily thorough cleaning… The staff is incredibly helpful, radiant & nice. very good quality hotel. It is clearly in a historical building, but has been well renovated. Perfectly clean. Very friendly staff. Comfortable bed. Good hearty breakfast. We stayed for one night on our way to vacation. I can highly recommend it. what is very important for us is silence. so that the road is not heard.
