Owner was super nice! The check in process was taken care of for a late check in very clearly and was easy. The facilities are beautiful and in a great area for tons of activities. Other guests were polite and friendly. There were excellent local restaurants in walking distance.

We booked last minute and just so happened the only room available was the one with a balcony. Room is spacious. Very nice and very clean. Getting to the room is a little inconvenient – one has to get into the building, up the stairs, then through a door, get outside to a hallway connecting to another building (exposed to the weather), then up the stairs again. My poor husband had to drag our luggage up and about, opening many doors and climbing many steps to get to our room. I would not recommend [the balcony room] for older couples. The breakfast is absolutely delightful and abundant. The hosts and staff are very pleasant. The Gasthof also has a dinner menu serving delicious foods. We actually made sure that we came back for dinner. It is recommended to make reservations (for dinner) as the restaurant is popular with locals. Good location – it is only 20 minutes or so by car to Salzburg.
