Lovely staff. We had a warm welcome in the early afternoon with a Schnitzel sandwich. Room was extremely spacious and had a lovely view on the mountains. Beds were comfortable, and everything was very clean. The breakfast was great as well: eggs, yoghurt, quark and many different kinds of bread, fruit, meat and vegetables.

This traditional Bavarian hotel in Farchant is just 4 km north of Garmisch-Partenkirchen. It offers a daily buffet breakfast. The rooms have a balcony with views of the Bavarian Alps.

Charming place in good location with very friendly and pleasant staff. We enjoyed or stay and can fully recommend this very nice hotel.

Great little spot. Alpine coaster just 10min away and amazing local restaurant for some food. Host was great as well.

We arrived on the very first day of the hotel’s reopening after renovations. They are still finishing some work, but everything in the room was brand new, fresh, with soft clean bedding and a beautiful view. When we arrived at check-in time, we were asked to wait for two more hours, but later they kindly gave us a discount for the inconvenience. The lady at the reception was very pleasant and helpful — thank you to her, and we wish the team good luck with finishing the renovations!

This was a gem amongst the 18 European accomodation bookings we have had in the last 5 weeks. Our room, including ensuite, was of good size and thoughtfully detailed with all that we needed. Cleanliness would have frustrated a forensic investigator looking for finger prints. Breakfast offerings were very good and individual requirements were fully satisfied. The free on site parking arrangement was one of the best for convenience and peace of mind from damage ( the fear of a hire car renter).

Absolutely lovely hotel, very welcoming people, the place itself is homey, quiet and comfy. The view from the balcony is amazing and it's tough to go to bed and stop gazing at all the stars. Breakfast is plenty. Enjoyed very much. Pillows are a bit too soft, but it's not an issue.
