Lovely quiet hotel. Newly refurbished and everything fresh and new. Lovely comfortable bed and good bathroom for what we needed. Spotlessly clean. Lovely fresh breakfast, nice choice. Very close to the lake and the pier. Stunning views. We found an amazing Italian restaurant Gondola. The food was the die for. Beautiful walks in the apple orchards and wine vineyards and across the lake you can see the mountains on the Austrian side. All rather lovely and relaxing.

The location is great, if you want a no frills cheap ish stay to get your head down, it’s good, there’s a bar a couple of doors down that’s cheap and friendly, worth a visit. Give the hotelier plenty of notice to get the room ready though, they do mention it but they weren’t ready for our arrival as we booked last minute.

A wonderful cozy room, great location, an amazing large bed with plenty of pillows, and a well-equipped kitchen! The bed was honestly the most comfortable I’ve ever slept in 💙 I also loved the beautiful view from the window. The staff were friendly, always in touch, and incredibly helpful in resolving any issues I had. Btw, I’ve never stayed anywhere before where the hosts specifically mention in their guide they don’t charge for broken dishes / any other staff - it was such a thoughtful and humane treatment. Thank you so much for this place!

We had a spacious room with balcony facing the Bodensee. The view was beautiful. Breakfast was simple and enough. It was good. The location is great, right in the middle of the town. Unfortunately the weather was not good but you can have a lovely walk right to the pier.
