the whole staff was super friendly and helpful, the owner is such a lovely lady and the location is just perfect for going to the mainland or exploring the island. They also served us vegan food for breakfast and prepared us breakfast for our 4am trip to Abu simbel! We loved that they offered very cheap water and drinks at the location.

Located in the Nubian village, very quiet, ideal for resting. Very clean and spacious rooms. Very rich and abundant breakfast on the terrace with beautiful views. When we arrived, Abu told us to feel like home. And that’s exactly how he and his team made us feel. It is rare to have such a warm and genuine (!!) welcome. He made sure we had the best time. Also, during our stay, me and one of my friends got sick - and Abu took good care of us. Thank you for the amazing time we had at your village! The rooms have everything you need and are very clean - just like the whole house. Having breakfast at the terrace is not only very yummy but has a very nice view too. The area of the Guest House is very safe. The people of the village are all very kind and helpful. We (three girls) had no issues to walk through the village even after dark.

The best part was the host. Mohammed was a super nice host - very responsive and easy to communicate. I got there after midnight, and I even had to leave the hotel at 3.30am for a super early morning tour on the same day, but thankfully he arranged the airport pickup and the boat. For the 3.30am boat ride, he stayed awake until around 3.40am to make sure that I made the boat ride on time. And the view from the terrace was magnificent. It was such a pity that I didn't have enough time to enjoy the view while my stay at the hotel. The room was clean with basic furniture - bed, wardrobe, a small fridge, a bedside table and a private bathroom. The hotel is a minute away from the jetty, and right before the jetty, there is a little shop where you can get almost anything. In a nutshell, it was worth the money.

    The host was amazingly friendly, even inviting us to his nieces engagement party while we were there and we got to experience some authentic Nubian food! The location is great, much quieter than staying on the east bank but also just a short and very cheap ferry ride over to the hustle and bustle. The room was nice and clean with a bathroom, ceiling fan, heaps of cupboard space, supplied towels and a really comfy bed. Would definitely reccomend!

    Great location next to the Nile and 5 minutes on foot from the ferry. Also very nice rooftop to chill by the river. The room was clean, quiet and comfortable. Ahmed is a great host, we were able to take our breakfast in a bag when we had to leave at 4am. He can also organize a trip to Abu Simbel at a reasonable price.
