The staff was super friendly and ready to help at all times. I was in Barcelona for a wedding, even in the middle of the night there is someone at the reception to let you in so you don’t have to take your key with you. Good breakfast as well, perfect location. Nothing bad to say

Property was in a good location, only a few minutes walk from La Rabla. Was modern and comfortable. Room was soundproof to the street. Staff at desk were very friendly. Was more a hotel than a hostal.

We loved staying at Casa Filomena! The accommodations were super stylish and the food -- we arranged with the host to have a dinner and two breakfasts at the Inn -- was just superb. Pati, who owns & runs the place, is exceedingly kind, informative, cheerful, and helpful! We were hoping for a stay that would be more personable -- and less generic -- than a big-box hotel, and Casa Filomena fit the bill perfectly. The area is filled with lovely shops and restaurants and cafes and with easy access to Barcelona's wonderful Metro system, we had no trouble navigating the city by foot, by bus, and by subway. It was an ideal stay -- and we'll be back.
