Property was in a good location, only a few minutes walk from La Rabla. Was modern and comfortable. Room was soundproof to the street. Staff at desk were very friendly. Was more a hotel than a hostal.

I highly recommend this place! I was checked in by Jose, who was very helpful with not only the place, but he also gave me a map of Barcelona along with tips on what visit and what to do and what not to do in the city. The other staff were also very nice and helpful. The rooms were very nice and I also like the small breakfast provided and the common areas that were available. The location is amazing, with only 10-15 mins walk to the center. Overall, just a very great stay and I would stay here again when I go back to Barcelona.

Room was perfectly clean, there were shampoo, conditioner, shower gel and body lotion in the bathroom, so it’s no problem if someone will forget to take anything of this. We loved staying at Casa Filomena! The accommodations were super stylish and the food -- we arranged with the host to have a dinner and two breakfasts at the Inn -- was just superb. Pati, who owns & runs the place, is exceedingly kind, informative, cheerful, and helpful! We were hoping for a stay that would be more personable -- and less generic -- than a big-box hotel, and Casa Filomena fit the bill perfectly. The area is filled with lovely shops and restaurants and cafes and with easy access to Barcelona's wonderful Metro system, we had no trouble navigating the city by foot, by bus, and by subway. It was an ideal stay -- and we'll be back.

The hotel is well located close to the main beaches (a short 10min walk to Balmins) and in the center of the gay night life. Décor is on point and the concept is fresh and inviting. The clothes optional terrace is a fantastic place to enjoy a late afternoon post-beach drink and meet other guests. The owners are delightful and are always ready to help with tips, reservations, etc. Highly recommended. :)

Magnificent view from the windows and terrace. Exclusive use of the swimming pool. A very comfortable apartment with all the amenities and utensils. This is a much better choice than a standard hotel or overpriced apartaments in Barcelona.
