wonderful. the family that run this hotel are wonderful and friendly . even had a sample of their home made cider which was delicious. breakfast was very nice. the rooms are spacious and very comfortable. the hotel is very well maintained.

I was cycling from Bilbao into France. The Pension provided an excellent, good value stopover. A shared bathroom but, like the bedroom, it was very clean. A simple but very nicely prepared dinner in the restaurant

The accommodation is clean and comfortable and the staff are very helpful and friendly. There is a cafe downstairs and a nice little garden, and it's in a quiet neighbourhood. It offered good value for money and a great base for exploring Durango and the nearby Urkiola Natural Park. This was our second visit to Errota Ostatua and we'd definitely come back again.

    It was lovely. Perfect stop for us on the Camino. The host was lovely and it was not too long of a walk outside of Markina-Xemein. It was very cosy with good kitchen facilities and lovely sunset view over the mountains :) Note: You just have to be careful if you are walking from Markina-Xemein as you must walk on the side of the road. But most cars weren’t going to fast and we walked to Markina-Xemein early Sunday morning so there were very few cars

    Location was great overlooking the square, and also quiet. The room was bigger than we anticipated give the price. A great place to stay if doing the Camino del Norte.
