Hostal El Callejón does exactly what it says on the tin. It is a 2* hostel. Our room was spacious, immaculately clean and comfortable. The staff were efficient and courteous. The location is perfect. It is tucked away off the Via Augusta, but within 5 minutes drive of the centre of Tarragona. There is a bus stop right opposite the entrance. The beach is 3 minutes walk, with relaxed chiringuitos serving good food and drink. Best of all, the hosts allow well-behaved humans to accompany their pets

Excellent hostel located right in the centre of the old town. Had a nice bar and restaurant downstairs with a friendly, family atmosphere.
