The location is absolutely fabulous, it's in the centre of the Nice! Brilliant, very attentive hosts. Perfect value for money. Opportunity to cook and keep food in the fridge. Comfy mattresses, anti mosquito nets.

Arriving in Monte Carlo, if you are alone on June 26, you can't afford to make mistakes (on booking.com the price was good, but who knows... in any case the owner had taken care to give me every indication via WhatsApp) otherwise in tears you run to the station and escape. When after a considerable climb (then I discovered all the elevators and escalators) I opened that French window, I found a mega A/C, a large smart TV on the wall (furious fast wi-fi), a mini fridge with kettle and coffee on top, hairdryer, ironing board with iron (fun optional in a 3 square meter room) bathroom and modern furnishings. My life for that evening was saved (never mind the rather limited hot water... and other trifles). As soon as I went down the stairs, in the square formidable pizza for 10 euros and markets open until late.

It was a very pleasant stay, the facilities just perfect and the location is wonderful.

From the moment we arrived we were made to feel right at home! No request was too big or small, from delivering an Iron and an Ironing board, to beach towels and to even allow us to stay way after checkout since our plans changed, I have rarely experienced a host as warm and kind as this! Located in a quiet street just a quick walk from the beach and restaurants this was truly a beautiful stay with a lovely little tree covered terrace area to relax! The small kitchen had everything we needed. Can highly recommend!

The hotel actually operates along with the underlying bistrot and I have to admit that it was fantastic having spacious rooms overlooking the beach. Rooms have comfortable beds and are equiped with all the means one may need, such as Wi-Fi, small fridge, espresso machine, hair-dryer, A/C and a large flat TV set (we did not get use of the latter). We had our rooms cleaned (really thoroughly) and our fridge resupplied with a pair of water bottles on a daily basis. Not only our hosts (Eloise and Nicolas) were really helpfull, but all the hotel and bistrot staff was suberb trying to fulfill our needs. The underlying bistro is used to serve French-style breakfast, offering a wide variety of sweet and savory dishes that truly exceed our expectations and varied preferences. Apart from breakfast, dinning at the bistrot is strongly suggested. All the plates are suberb, but I'd suggest trying those based on fish. It is worth to mention that the kitchen was extremely clean that there wasn't any fishy smell indicating that fishes were really fresh on a constant basis. The hotel is located right across the street from the beach so we had the opportunity to swim at every chance before having breakfast. The beach is clean with pebbles and is getting deep rather quickly which we really like. Finally, the hotel is ideally located close to the airport and yet without the traffic congestion of Nice, nor the crowded city centre. This is the ideal place to act as a base for journeys to other destinations, such as Nice, Monaco, Menton, Antibes, Cannes, St. Paul du Vence, or even Marseille. Last but not least Cros-de-Cagnes train station is within walking distance; trains along with local buses provide reliable travel alternatives to all the above destinations. Important notice: The hotel does not have a lift; so it is not suitable for people with kinetic disablilities. This was not a problem for us, but other people may need to be aware of.
