Room with traditional decor, yet super cozy, kettle and coffee machine available in the room and tea and coffee replenished every day. Quite clean. very attentive staff. I will return without a doubt! in a residential area and close to a central street with buses, pharmacies, supermarkets. about two minutes walk from that street and about 20 minutes walk from the city center

I could bring my bag to the house before check-in. Nancy was always quick to reply to my messages. The staff in general were really nice and welcoming. My room was very clean and beautiful (there were even flowers in the room). Linen and towels were included. There was enough space for luggage and lots of drawers and a wardrobe with hangers. Proper desk with a seat, desk lamp, make-up mirror and a kettle and a mug with complimentary coffee and tea. There was even hand sanitiser in the room which I really appreciated. There was a roller curtain and also normal curtains so you could block out the light if needed. I slept really well even though the mattress was softer than I'm used to. The duvet was really nice and warm which was important as at this time of the year it is too early to turn the radiators on but it can still get quite chilly. My private bathroom was directly opposite my room and it was also very clean and well-supplied with shower gel, shampoo, hand wash and toilet paper. The big towel and hand towel were changed daily and the rubbish was taken daily as well. The location was really good. There was a big Sainsburys and M&S less than 15 minutes walk away (on the bus route from the city centre). Not many restaurants in the area but didn't bother me as I ate in the city centre or bought something from the shops. (There is an Indian restaurant really close-by that looked nice and by the grocery stores there was a Burger King and a Nando's I think.) The bus stops to and from the centre were right by the house. And it was just a couple minutes walk to the Skylink bus stop to the airport. On the bus, it took about 20-40 minutes to get to the centre, depending on traffic. And as long as you stuck to one bus company you could travel as much as you wanted in the city for about £5. I went to St Andrews one day and even the bus stop for that was right by the house.

We truly enjoyed our stay! The room was beautiful, with a wonderful view from the window and a comfortable, spacious bed — I was pleasantly surprised. Everything was well thought out: there were shampoos, earplugs, coffee, and tea. We loved the shared kitchen, stocked with cereals, milk, spreads, and toast bread, so you can help yourself and prepare breakfast or enjoy a cup of coffee. There were also board games and cozy background music, which made the atmosphere even nicer. The hosts were exceptionally friendly — they let us check in early, kept our luggage on the last day, took great care of us, chatted with us, and were ready to help with anything we needed. Highly recommended!
