Excellent place to stay with kids and family a lot of green spaces and in front of Loch Ness amazing the apartments and all the installations

A perfect place to stay. Great and very friendly stuff. Very clean accommodation. Lovely surroundings.

The house was 2 min walk from the village, the room was spotless as was the common area. Was very warm and cosy, couldn’t recommend it more. As a solo traveller I felt 100% safe in this property

As an animal lover I was very impressed by the way they cared for the wildlife, it was wonderful! The venue and surroundings were perfect for a stroll in the woods.

Beautiful building and stunning scenery

The property was in a good location, close to the local amenities and tourist attractions. The property was very clean, spotless in fact. The Hosts were excellent.

Our stay (me together with a friend) was absolutely fantastic! I feel like I can never compliment the hosts enough. The lodge (fully built by the hosts themselves!) was spacious, the view and location both were amazing. Little tags were left around the house to help us find our way around the accommodation. It was all very clean, the shower and bathtub were both nice and pretty large, the kitchen was fairly simple but with all the facilities you might need on the go. For us (as hikers), this was more than perfect as a place to rest up and recharge a bit! The hosts were also eager to provide us with potential walking routes and sightseeing tips as a bonus. On that note, without exaggeration, I can safely say that the hosts were the nicest people we've met in a long time. The interaction with Maggie and Hugh was extremely pleasant and contributed to a great, welcoming atmosphere. Although careful as not to risk disturbing us, both of the hosts had great stories to tell once we got to talking more. They seem to immensely care about their BnB and meeting travellers, exchanging a wide variety of stories if you're up for it. They have a (carefully trained) dog, Moonie. She'll leave you alone if required, but will just as cheerily play a round of football with you in the garden once you engage with her. We have also seen that you can talk with her. It was adorable. The beds were good, and breakfast was nicely organised every morning. This included cereals, yoghurts, local fruits and coffee/tea followed by a variety of different options prepared by Maggie in the next room. I found it to be very tasty! Conclusively, me and my friend are unanimous: our stay was absolutely exquisite and we truly appreciate the effort that our hosts made in creating this fond memory for us. I will seriously look into revisiting the Sunrise House on any future trips to the Highlands.

Nice location within the walking distance to Urquhart castle. It was a one night stay only and we never had a chance to meet Sarah, but she left us detailrd instructions and we had no difficulties with finding the room. The beds were perfectly comfortable with many pillows and blankets. It was a bit small for 3 people, but we only were there for sleeping so it was fine. The bathroom had all thr necessaries. Absolutely great place for enjoying the nature of Scotland.
