We lived in Helston 1979-1981 and we wanted to stay where we could walk into town to reminisce our memories. It feels like home❤️ When we were planning our visit, I really wanted to stay in the heart of the village and The Strathallan was perfect. Our room was cozy with all the comforts needed. David and Valerie are the heart and soul of Strathallan and make you feel so very welcome. OH MY WORD, breakfast everyday was amazing, Chef David is a class act in the kitchen. Oh night we mentioned just going to get Chinese take-away and he said he would set a table for two in the breakfast room for us to use to eat our dinner. The gesture was so very special and we would highly recommend The Strathallan to everyone. Well done and we’ll be back. Thank You, Russ and Sue

My partner and I stayed here for 3 nights. The accommodation was brilliant. The room was clean with good facilities. All the staff were welcoming, attentive and helpful. You are provided with supplies to make your own breakfast, which had a variety of choice and was well received. The pub was in a great location to explore areas nearby. We would highly recommend The Prince of Wales and are already planning our return! 😊

As I explained in my previous email your website wrongly led us to believe we were booking bed and breakfast. It was a shock to realise breakfast was not included. However, we had a very comfortable stay and found the faciities very good and Nicki and Bryan very helpful. This needs to be amended on booking.com as other guests could be seriously disadvantaged by this.

Lovely to have the bar downstairs, to be able to go down by the fire in our slippers and eat and drink, then go back to our room.

Clean and comfortable room, friendly and helpful staff and fantastic food. We travelled from London for a wedding and I did not realise that check-in was at 5 pm (my fault, i didn't read the details) - so we needed somewhere to get ready! Staff let us into the room 4 hours early to get ready at no extra cost! Very greatful and a lovely stay had all round.
