This was the perfect place to spend a night before taking the ferry to Cherbourg early the next morning. The owner was very quick to confirm ahead of the visit that there was a dedicated space to safely lock away my bike and very helpful and friendly once I arrived!

Excellent location, within 30 seconds walk of Poole Quay! The property is modern and we'll equipped. Jenny, the host, was extremely helpful and efficient. I will definitely book Anchorage again on my next visit to Poole.

The room is small but this was advertised. Nonetheless it was an excellent room. The bed was comfortable and everything including the shared bathroom was clean. The room is in an apartment with shared amenities which were also clean and well kept. It is also very close to Boscombe beach as advertised. We enjoyed our stay. Thanks

Lovely place to stay, easy access to many locations. Anglebury House a lovely old building, and comfortable. The staff were excellent, friendly and helpful. The breakfasts were great and set you up for the day. Very good choice of evening meals, tasty, well presented and plenty of it. We really enjoyed our stay here. Wouldn’t hesitate to return.
