We loved that the guest house was easy to locate being on a main thoroughfare. We loved that we could easily catch a bus into town. There was a chinese takeaway very handy. A comfortable lounge with television for us to watch the rugby. Excellent staff.

Delightful room with lovely decor and thoughtfully furnished. Very helpful and understanding about our particular situation as we were supposed to be staying with friends but they had a black out due to the storm. They checked future availability for us in case the blackout lasted longer. Fortunately we didn't need to stay longer but to do so was definitely not a hardship! Thanks so much

We had a very comfortable, nice size room for our family of four. Such a pretty view from the window and comfortable beds and shower. The breakfast was great, with nice croisants, fresh berries and yogurt, and more, as well as a full cooked English breakfast as desired. There were fresh flowers in every room. Everyone was friendly and welcoming.

    The location was super on the harbour front. Our host at the guest house was very friendly and welcoming and informative about local restaurants and amenities. The house was very well equipped as was our room. Continental breakfast was plentiful as was tea coffee water etc in room. Spacious bathroom and comfy bed. Cosy lounge area with sofa and large TV, very homely. All round great experience.

    We have a very great stay in belvedere Guest House the owners are very kind, welcoming and very helpful. Breakfast is excellent. There are even vegetarian and vegan breakfasts. We had the Scottish breakfast, so delicious. The Belvedere is located in the city center, Dunnotar Castle is accessible on foot from Stonehaven harbour. We travel by train and the hotel is 10 minutes downhill! To leave the owner called us a taxi (2 min by taxi to get to the station) so we avoided the hill with the suitcases :)

    A very pleasant stay. The hosts are very nice and helpful, great contact during the stay and before arrival - they responded quickly to messages and were very friendly. Very good breakfasts. Room and bathroom nice, clean and comfortable. Great location close to the city center and the beach. If I come back to Stonehaven (it's really lovely) I will stay again.
