I loved my stay at the Penn. At first, I had only booked for 1 night but extended it for 2 as it was so nice. The room was spacious and beautifully decorated, and the bed was comfortable. It was very conveniently located to Windermere station, the local buses and Windermere town itself. Although I arrived too early for check-in, a staff member kindly stored my bags in the hotel prior to putting them in my room for me. There was also a lovely little sweet treat welcome gift, which was very much appreciated.

Kenilworth Guest House is located less than 1 mile from the beauty of Lake Windermere. Free WiFi access is available. Each room here will provide you with a TV and tea/coffee making facilities.

The host was extremely friendly and helpful. The room was very comfortable and very clean. Thanks for the daily home-made cookies and fresh milk. We really enjoyed our stay at Kenilworth Guest House.

The lounge area was used a lot as our family got together and had wine and nibbles and played games. The bedrooms were beautiful. Bonnie was helpful and friendly. Location was great. Breakfast was good.

Situated 10 minutes of walking to Windermere or Bowness, Hawksmoor Guest House has free Wi-Fi and plenty of off-road parking.

What a wonderful property. Ideally located between Windermere and Bowness to explore both. Friendly staff, beautiful room (12) that was immaculate, lovely balcony that overlooked at stream, comfortable bed, great breakfast. The staff were attentive, helpful and genuinely want you to feel at home and have a perfect stay. We could not fault this property and couldn’t ask for more. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and would 100% recommend it. Thank you to all of the team at The Hawksmoor. We will definitely be back! :)

The staff is very friendly, I requested to check in at 7-8pm, but for some reason I decided to leave my luggage at the guest house at 3pm. And the guest house staff allowed us to do so, even when checking out was the same. comfortable environment and very reasonable price, will definitely come back again!
