What a great sanctuary of a place and wonderful people! Nia, the Manager did all she could to welcome us and even stayed up late when we had unavoidable delays making us arrive well past check in. But the whole team are fantastic being attentive and responsive to our needs and requests with smiles at the ready. The inclusion of your choice of breakfast is fantastic and it was the nicest breakfast and cleanest accommodation we had in our month on Sumatra We stayed for 5 nights but would have happily stayed longer. We had to move one night as they were full and stayed at Carolina Cottages but couldn’t wait to get back to a much more welcoming and flexible vibe at Hub Tata If you want peaceful lakeside spot and a lovely vibe with helpful good people and a delicious breakfast this is your place! Great place!! Felt very clean, had an amazing view on the lake and the staff helped with everything. Would definitely recommend.

Juma is a really nice place to stay. Very nice apartments (mine had a really nice balcony) with beautiful view on Toba lake. Best of staying at Juma was the owner Pino, who made me feel at home, and made an itenary for me every morning when I rented a scooter and traveled the area.

Marintan was the most welcoming host. Got there at 9am and was able to check in early at no additional cost. Location is great as the ferry drops you off very close by. All our needs were met with incredible care and attention including when I got stung by a hornet and she provided some lotion and reassurance. The food was also exceptionally good. Can't recommend this place.

Great friendly staff. The hostel has a pool table and the lake on the back, where you can hang out and swim. Food was pretty good and at a good price
